Moscow Police Updated Vehicle Fleet: Premium Versions of "Moskvich 6" Sent to Law Enforcement

Law enforcement agencies received new liftbacks and crossovers of domestic production

The Moscow police have acquired a new batch of "Moskvich 6" cars in expensive trim levels. According to journalists, the capital's law enforcement agencies received at least 15 five-door liftbacks. In total, the purchase includes 55 "Moskvich" vehicles, including 40 crossovers and 15 liftbacks manufactured in 2024.

The models chosen for law enforcement are equipped with at least the "Business" trim level. The cars are equipped with a 174-horsepower turbo engine and a 6-speed DCT transmission.

According to the official price list, the cost of the 2024 "Moskvich 6" with a preselective robot starts from 2,976,000 rubles. Significant discounts may be provided for government agencies. All 15 liftbacks purchased for the police are presented in the most powerful version.

This is not the first purchase of "Moskvich" vehicles for law enforcement agencies. In July 2023, the National Guard received 100 gasoline-powered "Moskvich 3" vehicles, and in November the Ministry of Internal Affairs replenished its fleet with 206 similar vehicles. Also, "Moskvich 3e" electric vehicles began to be used in the Moscow City Hall and other government institutions.
