Got Rid of All Foreign Components: Production of Industrial Safety Valves Launched in Moscow Region

Planned to produce up to 5,000 units annually

The Moscow Region company "NPO Asta" (part of the "Astima" group) has launched serial production of safety valves for heating systems and industrial tanks in Voskresensk. The company's capacity will allow producing up to 5,000 units per year. The level of production localization has reached 100%.

The produced safety valves are designed to protect pipelines, tanks, and equipment in heating systems (boilers, vulcanizers, sterilizers, and pasteurizers).

They prevent equipment destruction when the permissible pressure is exceeded, which may occur due to chemical reactions, solar radiation, fires, or other factors.

According to Evgeny Sinodov, founder of "NPO Asta" and the "Astima" Group of Companies, previously up to 60% of the safety valve market was occupied by foreign manufacturers from Germany, Poland, Great Britain, and the USA.

The company used Turkish components, but in 2023-2024, the production of 36 analogues was localized to replace imported ones. Now "NPO Asta" independently produces all parts, except for springs and cast parts of the body, which are supplied by domestic manufacturers.

Consumers of the new safety valves are boiler plants, enterprises of the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, and textile industries in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Roselectronics started production of Fisht mini-computers for neural networks.
