Rostec Released the First Russian Microwave Modules for Space and Airborne Equipment

The devices will replace American, German, and French counterparts

The "Ruselectronics" holding (part of Rostec) has started supplying import-substituted microwave electronics for telecom. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.

The products, designed for switching signals up to 18 GHz, are necessary for radio-electronic equipment of ground, air, and space-based systems. The devices will replace German, American, and French counterparts. Microwave modules can withstand multiple impacts with accelerations up to 50g and operate at temperatures from -60 to +85 degrees Celsius.

In addition, the modules withstand acoustic noise up to 150 dB, which is comparable to a shot from a 12-gauge shotgun or the force of a shock wave from a supersonic aircraft. At this noise level, hearing damage is possible.
