In Russia, new requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) weighing from 0.25 kg to 30 kg came into force on March 1. Remote identification systems will be introduced for them, said Vadim Avershin, head of перспективных проектов at the Аэроскрипт research center.
The new measure is needed to improve the safety of drone flights. Avershin recalled that the Аэроскрипт research center developed the "Nebosvod" digital system. It collects various data and prevents possible collisions of aircraft in the sky.
Our platform processes information from multi-position observation systems, ADS-B stations, eID/LTE transponders via mobile networks, ground control stations, primary radars and satellite systems.
Thanks to the integration of various data sources, a unified picture of the airspace is created. With the help of "Nebosvod", each participant in air traffic will be able to safely perform their tasks without violating the requirements of the regulator.
