The United Engine Corporation (ODK) has shown footage of official tests of the TV7-117ST-01 turboprop engine for the Il-114-300 aircraft.
ODK specialists manufacture parts from modern materials using advanced technologies. Each part undergoes thorough inspection, and the assembled engine undergoes a series of multi-hour tests.
The longest stage is checking the reliability of the power plant on a test bench. Hundreds of sensors are connected to the engine, which monitor the operation of each of its systems.
The TV7-117ST-01 is equipped with a modernized engine and propeller control system (SAU-65ST-01), which includes a BARK-65SM-01 control unit and an electronic control unit.
The engine has improved operational manufacturability and maintainability, as well as increased take-off power. The power plant can be safely operated at an outside air temperature from -60 °C to +60 °C.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that certification of the Il-114 aircraft is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.
