Specialized military armored vehicles have been equipped with new filter separators for coolant (CL), developed by scientists at Vladimir State University (VlSU). The solution aims to improve the reliability of military equipment in extreme conditions.
The filters, created as part of the «AutoSphere» project, eliminate contamination in the engine cooling system, preventing overheating even under heavy use. The development combines efficiency and simplicity of design, which is critical for field applications. The devices do not require frequent maintenance, reducing repair time in combat situations.
The Nizhny Novgorod enterprise «OboronAvto», which won a government contract, has already begun mass production of filters.
The reliable operation of the cooling system directly affects the combat readiness of armored vehicles. Engine overheating can disable the vehicle at a critical moment, endangering the crew and the task. The innovation of VlSU and «OboronAvto» reduces such risks.
