The "Gosuslugi" portal has launched the "Life Situation" service, which will allow citizens to apply for retirement in a simplified manner.
The new service combines key services related to pension provision: pension assignment, obtaining an extract of the personal account status, arranging payment delivery, and obtaining a certificate of the pension amount. With its launch, the number of necessary documents and visits to government institutions will be significantly reduced.
The authorities plan to expand the functionality of the service. By the end of the year, citizens who have reached retirement age will be able to receive notifications of their right to a pension without submitting applications. Also, an electronic pensioner's certificate can be issued through the portal, which will grant the right to free visits to cultural institutions, discounts, and preferential travel on transport.
