In mid-2023, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced preparations for updating the Patriot SUV and other models built on the same platform.
At the same time, the improvements will be minor: the car will receive a turbo diesel engine and a new six-speed manual transmission instead of the previous five-speed one.
The model will also see a new front panel, a new steering wheel, a new central tunnel, and LED headlights and taillights, which will be «radically more efficient» than the existing optics.
An independent designer presented his vision of the future UAZ Patriot Business 2025 model on the pages of the c информацииenyavto.com publication.
The presented concept is not part of the official development program of the plant, but the current situation in the automotive market may require UAZ to revise its existing strategy. Officially, the car in the new version will be shown in November 2025.
