Первый спорткар МАРТТ выходит на дороги: всё об отечественной новинке

The design of the sports car resembles the classic "Moskvich-400/401"

In Moscow, ArtLine Engineering presented the first prototype of the MARTT sports car, which stands for "Moskvich-ART-line Technology." The design of this car refers to the classic "Moskvich-400/401".

MARTT is a two-seater racing car created in accordance with all motorsport rules. It is equipped with a lightweight body made of composite materials, which serves as the basis for the supporting structure.

The design is based on a carbon monocoque, into which a welded aluminum frame is integrated. A safety cage is attached to the top of the frame, ensuring the safety of the pilot and passenger. The engine, clutch housing and gearbox, located longitudinally, are rigidly attached to the rear wall of the monocoque and are part of the overall power circuit, as is customary in Formula 1 racing.

Design work was carried out in a high-level computer-aided design system, which made it possible to use computational aerodynamics and finite element strength calculations to ensure optimal vehicle characteristics.

The company's specialists prepared engines based on VAZ-21126 with a volume of 1596 cm³. These engines are equipped with a lubrication system with a dry sump and an oil radiator.

Cars are available in two versions: road and track. The road version meets the requirements of GOST for environmental performance and is equipped with a serial engine with a standard intake tract, control unit, catalytic converter and on-board diagnostics system.

The track version has a reinforced connecting rod and piston group, a modified cylinder head and a turbocharging system with an intercooler and a turbine cooling radiator. Control is carried out by the Abit Corvette unit with original firmware.

The mechanical transmission of the car includes a two-disc dry clutch and a 6-speed sequential gearbox with a limited slip differential. The gearbox is controlled using steering wheel paddles.

Torsion suspension, characterized by complex kinematics, is a distinctive feature of cars created by ART-Line Technology. Double wishbones with push rods are a version of the suspension used in Formula 1, adapted for road cars.

In addition to adjusting the wheel alignment angles, this suspension has the ability to adjust the overall and angular stiffness, ground clearance, anti-roll bars, shock absorbers, as well as the effects of nodding and squatting.

The body panels are not load-bearing elements. They are made of fiberglass and carbon fiber using vacuum infusion and contact molding methods on original tooling. All parts made of composite materials, and there are more than a hundred of them in the car, are produced by the company's specialists.

For the first time in many years, a car has been put into circulation in Russia, designed from scratch and manufactured outside of factory conditions.

During 2024, MARTT underwent running tests on the ADM Raceway track in Myachkovo. In the fall, the car was presented to an accredited testing laboratory, where it successfully completed all the necessary examinations and tests that meet the requirements of GOST 33670-2015. Based on the test results, a "Vehicle Design Safety Certificate" was obtained.
