According to the legend of the exercises, the forces of a conditional enemy deployed in the Barents Sea and tried to land a naval landing on the coast of the Kola Peninsula.
The personnel of the radio-technical combat unit detected the target and identified it as a landing group of a conditional enemy that had landed on the coast. The combat crew of the A-192M artillery complex took the target for tracking, and then successfully hit it at a distance of 14 km from the ship.
The ship also conducted training in air defense of the ship. The calculation of the composition of the anti-aircraft artillery complex "Palash" repelled the attack of the enemy's air attack weapons, performing combat firing at an air target.
The armament of the frigates of the project includes anti-ship missiles "Caliber" or "Onyx", the anti-aircraft missile system "Poliment-Redut", the anti-submarine torpedo complex "Paket-NK" and an artillery installation. A Ka-27 helicopter can be based on board the ships.
