Russian Navy ships arrive in Indonesia to participate in "Komodo-2025" exercises

A detachment of ships from the Russian Navy has arrived in Indonesia to participate in the multilateral naval exercises "Komodo-2025", the Ministry of Defense press service reported.

A detachment of ships of the Russian Navy, consisting of the corvettes "Rezkiy" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" of project 20380 of the Pacific Fleet, with the support of the medium sea tanker "Pechenga", arrived at the roadstead of Bali Island, Republic of Indonesia, to participate in the multilateral naval exercises "Komodo-2025".

According to the military department, the opening ceremony of the exercises will take place on February 16. The Russian delegation will be headed by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Vladimir Vorobyov.

Ships and observers from more than 30 countries are expected to participate in the "Komodo-2025" exercises, organized by the Indonesian Navy.
