The auto component manufacturer NPP ITELMA, commissioned by AvtoVAZ, has developed a new system for controlling and diagnosing electrical equipment for the assembly line producing Lada Iskra cars.
The End-of-Line (EOL) system is a software and hardware complex for the complete testing of electrical and electronic systems of a car in automatic mode. It has become a Russian analogue of the German diagnostic complex Siemens SIDIS, access to which the Russian automotive industry lost back in 2022. This solution will ensure high assembly quality and reliability of new cars.
Mass production of Lada Iskra will start in April this year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ denied rumors about the start of production of Lada Iskra and Renault Logan at the plant in St. Petersburg.
