The republic produces a multi-role combat aircraft under Russian license

Localization of Su-30MKI fighter production under Russian license in India has reached 60%. This was announced by Mikhail Babich, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC).

The Su-30MKI multi-role fighter in India is produced under Russian license by the state corporation Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. It forms the basis of the Indian front-line aviation.

Su-30MKI characteristics:

  • Maximum speed at high altitude — 2125 km/h
  • Maximum flight altitude — 17.3 thousand m
  • Thrust-to-weight ratio — 1.0

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia showed the updated Lancet-E complex in India for the first time.
