The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) first launched the latest fifth-generation Su-57 fighter into the sky in 2010. Since then, the machine has been improved every year, learned to destroy all types of air, ground, and surface targets, and mastered stealth technologies to become invisible to enemy radars.
Since 2020, the Su-57 has been serially supplied to the troops. Now these fifth-generation fighters are effectively used in combat operations.
The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, noted that the Su-57 clearly proves Russia's unique competencies in military aviation.
Today's Su-57 is significantly different from the machine that first took to the sky 15 years ago. Over the past years, the fighter has undergone tremendous evolution and continues to improve today - the capabilities of weapons and aircraft systems are being increased.
The head of the state corporation added that the expansion of UAC's production facilities will increase the volume of fighter supplies to the troops, as well as actively offer the Su-57 in an export version for foreign customers.
The Su-57 has a supersonic cruising speed, internal armament, radio-absorbing coating, as well as the latest complex of onboard equipment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia has significantly increased the production of unmanned boats for the Navy.
