Lada Iskra was developed on a new high-tech platform, it will be produced in three body modifications: sedan, station wagon and station wagon-cross. The start of mass production is scheduled for April 2025.
The President was also presented with other promising car models produced at the plant, including the E-Niva all-wheel drive electric vehicle, Lada Niva Sport, mockups of new T-134 and B+Cross urban crossovers, and the B-Van minivan.
T-134 is the next crossover on the Vesta platform.
Executive Vice President for Technical Development and Strategy of АвтоВАЗ, Evgeny Shmelev, noted that the T-134 crossover was developed on the Vesta platform.
Previously, the full characteristics of Lada Iskra became known, the car will be equipped with a multimedia system with Yandex services.
