The department clarified that long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean, Black and Baltic Seas.

All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.

Tu-160 is a Russian supersonic strategic bomber-missile carrier with variable sweep wings. Along with the Tu-95M, the aircraft forms the basis of the modern aircraft fleet of the long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The "White Swan" is designed to operate with nuclear and conventional weapons against targets in remote areas. The Tu-160 is the largest supersonic aircraft in the history of military aviation.
