In 2024, more than 30 ships of various classes joined the Navy. This was announced by the Chairman of the Marine Board, Nikolai Patrushev.
According to him, the capabilities of the Navy allow to protect the maritime borders of the state and ensure the safety of Russian ships from military threats
Last year, the Navy continued to actively update. It included more than three dozen ships of various classes.
Patrushev stressed that it is necessary to achieve technological import substitution in the shipbuilding industry in Russia, so that enterprises get rid of even the slightest need to depend on foreign supplies of component equipment.
