The manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-27 will go to the International Space Station (ISS) in April 2025, according to Roscosmos Executive Director for Manned Programs Sergei Krikalev.
According to him, the current crew of the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft: cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin and Ivan Wagner, as well as NASA astronaut Donald Pettit, were scheduled to leave the ISS on April 1. Their mission will be extended due to the need for a crew changeover.
If the launch date is shifted, then the landing date is also shifted.
It was planned that Soyuz MS-27 would fly to the ISS in March of this year.
Roscosmos also announced plans to increase the duration of Soyuz MS missions to the ISS to seven to nine months. This will save on launching ships every two years.
