A Russian T-72 tank withstood over 20 FPV drone hits thanks to protective screens, which have been dubbed "mangal" in military slang.
The T-72 crews are engaged in destroying fortified areas with direct fire, supplying troops in position with various cargo, including ammunition and provisions, and evacuating the wounded from the battlefield.
The tanks are equipped with special ramps that allow for quick unloading of the delivered cargo, and then literally "pulling" the soldiers injured by enemy fire inside.
The combat vehicles are also equipped with electronic warfare equipment and smoke grenade launchers of the "Tucha" system.
The modernized T-72 tank is an improved version of the most popular main battle tank of its generation, developed in the early 1970s.
