At the final press conference in Moscow, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov spoke about the company's achievements in 2024.
The company managed to achieve significant growth in the production of cars and vehicle kits. The maximum figure for the last 10 years was reached - 525,525 units. Car production increased by 40%.
In 2024, LADA retained its leadership in the Russian market: sales growth amounted to more than 30% compared to 2023. The Granta, Vesta and both Niva models continue to occupy top positions.
AvtoVAZ has achieved technological sovereignty by increasing the localization of production. In 2024, the company continued to work on new projects, including LADA Iskra and a crossover based on Vesta. The production of new versions of cars, including Largus and e-Largus, was also established.
Sokolov said that the average salary at the enterprise in Togliatti is approaching 100 thousand rubles. Over the past year, employee salaries have increased by an average of 34%.
AvtoVAZ's dealer network has expanded: it now has 338 car dealerships, which is 21 more compared to 2023.
AvtoVAZ increased exports in 2024 by four times. Sokolov pointed out that exports of Lada cars to Vietnam are being discussed at the government level.
