В Подмосковье начнётся строительство платного дублёра Егорьевского шоссе

Construction of the highway in the Moscow region will start this year

Construction of a 36 km toll road to duplicate the Yegoryevskoye Highway is planned in the Moscow region, which will connect the Moscow Ring Road and the Central Ring Road in the eastern direction.

The working title of the duplicate is METK, which stands for Moscow — Yegoryevsk — Tuma — Kasimov. The highway will have four lanes, nine interchanges and 32 bridges, starting in the Tomilino settlement near Moscow. The "toll road" will pass through the Lyubertsy district, Kotelniki and Ramenskoye, and then connect to the Central Ring Road near the village of Gzhel.

The examination of the project documentation has been completed, and Gazprombank is ready to cover the main costs of building the new highway. It is expected that traffic on it will begin in 2027-2028, if all goes according to plan.

Currently, the Yegoryevskoye Highway consists of two lanes. This is one of the busiest highways in the region. It connects Lyubertsy and Kasimov, located near Ryazan. Due to the dense development in the surrounding area, the reconstruction of the existing highway is considered impractical.
