Russian Kulibin modernized the standard antenna of the electronic warfare station for the military: "birds" will fall

The efficiency of the UAV suppression system has significantly increased

Russian serviceman Dmitry improved the antenna of the radio-electronic warfare station for military equipment, increasing its range. He developed a reliable metal frame for it, protecting it from damage.

The soldier said that his main area of activity is the repair of systems responsible for the operation of the engine and wiring. However, he decided to develop measures to counter enemy unmanned aerial vehicles, which have become a serious threat to heavy equipment.

I focused on the electronic warfare system, which needed modernization. The problem with the "jammer" we use is its small range. That is, the drone will be disabled on approach and detonate at a relatively safe distance. However, unfortunately, this does not protect against shrapnel.

The fighter noted that he identified the weak points of the electronic warfare station, which turned out to be the antenna and its matching with the generator.

After studying the relevant literature, I found a solution. I designed a new antenna and connected it to a more powerful generator. This allowed me to significantly increase the efficiency. During a combat sortie, the "birds" fell approximately 300 meters away, and even the fragments did not reach our vehicle. This was our electronic warfare system in action.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russia has developed a unique version of the electronic warfare system "Tarakan". The system is equipped with an automatic control unit "Dronoskop-4R" to suppress UAVs on approach.
