The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a video showing a drone engaging in an aerial duel with a heavy hexacopter "Baba Yaga" and defeating it.
The objective control footage shows the UAV operator entering a convenient trajectory and ramming the enemy drone. It was damaged and fell to the ground, without harming Russian units. Ramming techniques have become common in drone aerial combat.
This "Baba Yaga" was interfering with Russian assault and artillery units on the front lines, dropping mines on positions and mining supply access routes.
Earlier, a military expert called the Gibka-S anti-aircraft missile system on the Tigr armored vehicle the best option for covering oil depots and airbases from the Lyuty and Baba Yaga UAVs.
