The Vietnamese Armed Forces presented the Soviet GAZ-5903 armored personnel carrier (APC) at the Vietnam Defence Exhibition 2024 international defense exhibition in Hanoi. The versatile amphibious combat vehicle allows combat missions to be carried out in difficult geographical conditions, writes Army Recognition.
The GAZ-5903 features a simple design and reliability. Thanks to its 6x6 wheel arrangement and amphibious characteristics, the APC can transport soldiers over rough terrain, water, and swamps.
The Vietnamese Armed Forces are also armed with BTR-60s, PT-76s (Soviet amphibious tank).
