First shots of the latest remote-controlled ATGM "Konkurs-M": a threat to any tanks in battle

Specialists from the Kalashnikov concern have refined the перспективную remotely controlled wire-guided launcher for the Konkurs-M ATGM, designed by enthusiastic engineers from the Russian Armed Forces, to the level of operational readiness. Footage of the system has appeared online.

The new product has received remotely controlled wire-guided electromechanical drives for azimuthal and elevation control of the TPK with a 9Sh119M1 optoelectronic sight and an additional thermal imaging sighting system with a night-time range of about 2-2.5 km.

Video from the sighting modules is displayed on the indicator of a remote computerized ATGM operator terminal, protecting the crew from direct fire from the enemy.

In addition to high noise immunity, the wired channel cannot be detected by means of interferometric sensors of radio and electronic intelligence.

Preparation "Konkurs-M" for combat operation does not exceed 20 minutes. With the help of this development, the operator will be able to alternately control three Konkurs-M launchers at once, being 100 meters away from the gun.
