The Russian arms manufacturer "Kalashnikov" has begun supplying the military with a modification of the "Vikhr-1" air-to-surface missile. It features enhanced combat capabilities, according to the CEO of the corporation, Alan Lushnikov.
We have put it into production and are already shipping it.
Earlier, Lushnikov stated that the corporation's arms manufacturers are adapting the "Vikhr-1" for launch from drones. Experts note that this missile, thanks to its special warhead, destroys virtually any Western-made tank.
The missile is designed to engage ground-based maneuvering armored targets equipped with dynamic protection blocks, as well as medium-speed aerial targets, including helicopters, attack aircraft, and drones. It is also used to destroy enemy firing points.
