Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to hold a "technological duel" with the West was a response to claims about the alleged vulnerability of the Oreshnik missile system. This was announced by the head of state's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier, during the прямой линии 19 декабря Putin suggested that anyone who doubts the characteristics of Oreshnik should hold a "duel" against all Western anti-aircraft missile systems.
It was an answer to a question. The question was that experts in the West claim that this weapons system has vulnerabilities.
"Oreshnik" is an absolute revolution in weapons technology, Peskov added.
