At the end of November, aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Chinese Air Force conducted a joint strategic patrol over the Sea of Japan. This was the ninth such mission since 2019, according to Xinhua news agency.
The agency specified that the air patrol is part of military cooperation between Russia and China.
The purpose of this operation is to effectively test and improve the joint training and operational capabilities of the two air forces.
The patrols include Tu-95 strategic bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces and Xian H-6 bombers of the Chinese Air Force.
