Large-scale reshuffle in the aviation industry

Managing Director of JSC Tupolev Konstantin Timofeev and General Director of PJSC Yakovlev Andrey Boginsky are leaving their posts. This was reported in the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation.

PJSC Yakovlev will be headed by UAC General Director Vadim Badeha, who will combine the position with the post of head of the corporation. The powers of the sole executive body in Tupolev were previously transferred to UAC.

The company's activities will be managed by Alexander Bobryshev, Deputy General Director of UAC for Program Management of Operational-Tactical Aviation and State Defense Order. He will also take the post of Managing Director of Tupolev.

Transfer of management to the level of the parent company UAC will allow concentrating the corporation's resources on the implementation of specific tasks for launching mass production of a line of domestic civil aircraft and timely certification.

According to the source, the decision was brewing against the background of serious problems with the implementation of the comprehensive program for the development of the air transport industry. The program involved the supply of about a thousand aircraft by 2030 and was to be adjusted in terms of volumes and timing in 2025.
