Automotive journalist Maxim Kadakov believes that, by all indications, the legendary "Bukhanka" remains a car. That is why it is impossible to recognize it as any other type of transport, as proposed by the National Automobile Union (NAS).
Frankly, I see no reason to recognize the UAZ-450 as a tractor. This is an outdated model, but it fully meets all the features and technical characteristics of a car.
According to the journalist, if the "Bukhanka" were suddenly recognized as a specialized vehicle, then special rights would be needed to drive it. Restrictions on driving on public roads would also apply to it.
Earlier, the National Automobile Union (NAS) submitted an application to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to classify the UAZ-450 as a self-propelled vehicle, that is, a tractor, due to its outdated design and safety problems.
