The device has no analogues on the market

Sigma company (resident of the Novosibirsk technology park "AkademPark") has created a system to help teachers based on artificial intelligence (AI). The development will help in the education of blind and visually impaired people. This was announced by Margarita Frolova, executive director of the company.

My team and I have developed an automated learning system for the blind and visually impaired using artificial intelligence. The main product is a web service that can visualize the movement of the fingertips of the blind.

The development is a hardware and software complex with a fixed webcam. It tracks and recognizes the hand of a blind person, and then displays the movements on a thermal map.

The device has no direct analogues on the market. In 2025, the developers plan to start cooperation with the All-Russian Society of the Blind.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia they created a robot guide.
