The Cheboksary Power Aggregate Plant, which produces components for Russian equipment manufacturers, has promised to double its axle production by the end of 2025.
This is due to growing market needs and a new promising project of the "Bryansk Arsenal" plant. It plans to launch mass production of new generation graders next year, with components for which are produced at the Cheboksary enterprise.
Earlier in 2024, the plant signed an agreement with PJSC "KAMAZ" to develop and produce a unique tandem axle for special equipment. There are no analogues of these axles on the Russian market, and mass production of new axles for KAMAZ vehicles is scheduled to begin in 2025.
The Cheboksary Power Aggregate Plant is currently the only Russian enterprise that produces drive axles and other axles for special equipment. Until 2022 and the tightening of sanctions, enterprises had to purchase foreign analogues, but their supplies ended, and the enterprise occupied an important niche in Russian industry.
