A controller for unmanned aerial vehicles has been developed at the Polytechnic Institute of the Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University (NovSU). This was reported by the university's press service.
The device will allow drones to fly in rain and snow, even in the Far North.
The flight controller is similar to a motherboard in a computer. All the components necessary for the device to work are connected to it.
The development will be completed in 4 months. There are also plans to engage in the complex assembly of drones.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new engine for drones was developed in Novosibirsk.
