The blacklist includes former and current employees of the Belarusian penitentiary system, including Denis Tolstenkov, Andrei Palchik, Filipp Shturchanka and Alexei Lazarenko. In July, the European Union authorities imposed sanctions against 28 Belarusian security officials, judges and journalists.

The StankoGomel plant produces modern vertical and horizontal machining centers with CNC types BYVER, SGV, BYHOR and SGH. Employees of "Rukhservomotor" assemble linear motors, laser machines, and components for the drive. NIIEVM creates secure computers, transistor amplifiers, video monitors and display devices.
