Air defense gunners of the Central Military District (CMD) are covering the positions of Russian servicemen. The Pantsir SAM system shoots down drones and NATO missiles. FPV drone operators are also working there, hitting enemy tanks and vehicles.
The Pantsir missile is characterized by high maneuverability, as well as a small speed reduction during flight. This is due to the fact that when the booster unit is jettisoned, the missile's caliber decreases, reducing aerodynamic drag.
According to a serviceman with the call sign Dron, the Pantsir crews are countering NATO ATACMS missiles.
The work is proceeding as normal: detection, tracking, and subsequent destruction.
Ground Targets in the Sights of FPV Operators
Operators prepare kamikaze drones in a matter of minutes to destroy ground targets. Equipped with explosives, the FPV drone transmits a video of the flight using a camera. From takeoff to hitting enemy equipment, it takes no more than 30 minutes.
We work from pickups to tanks. We destroyed an Abrams with a small "carrot." The first shell hit it under the turret in the area of the ammunition rack. It caught fire.
