Rostec's Ruselectronics holding has developed a line of microwave modules for ground-based radio-electronic equipment. The Special Design Bureau for Relay Technology has created domestic analogues of the 535, 545, and 565 series modules from Dow Key Microwave Corporation (USA). They also serve as a functional replacement for components from Radiall SA (France), Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (USA), and Tesat-Spacecom (Germany).
The products are designed for switching signals up to 18 GHz, can withstand multiple impacts with accelerations up to 50g, acoustic noise up to 150 dB, and operate at temperatures from -60 to 85 degrees Celsius. The use of modern domestic electronic component base has reduced the price of new microwave modules by 40-55% compared to foreign analogues.
The line of microwave modules, which is included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products, has already begun to be mass-produced. This means that in the future, Russian equipment will be designed in a shorter time, will receive improved technical characteristics and will become cheaper in cost.
