The company "Elron" will launch the production of single-board computers in Novosibirsk. They will be made on the basis of sanction-independent electronics. The manufactured equipment may be in demand in machine tool construction, industry, instrument engineering and in the computer industry.
The authors of the project believe that Elron's single-board computers can become an alternative to foreign solutions. The fact is that the single-board computers of Russian production presented on the market are most often made on the basis of the foreign Arduino processor. Elron claims to use domestic components.
Production costs will amount to 100 million rubles in the first stage, which includes the purchase of equipment. It is planned to produce several thousand computers per year, although only a few hundred in the first year.
