Импортонезависимый комплекс для создания облачных сервисов разработали в России

This is the first such domestic development in the country

Engineers at the Russian company ICL Astra Services have developed a hardware and software complex (HSC) for creating private cloud services. The system runs on Astra Infrastructure Cloud software and ICL Tekhnо "hardware."

The HSC is completely import-independent and suitable for organizations of any size; this is the first such development in Russia. Among Western developments, the closest solutions are VxRail from Dell, VMware, and EMC.

The new HSC is designed to provide virtual machine infrastructure and create a private cloud on the customer's computing sites. It is suitable for hosting information systems and information security tools, and creating a basic infrastructure. The company claims that this HSC is a unique offering in the domestic market and meets customer needs.

The hardware part of the HSC consists of a 1 Gbit switch for managing and monitoring the complex, one 10-gigabit switch for access to the system and virtual machines, and five universal physical 2U servers, a firewall for controlling and filtering traffic to protect data and workloads, an uninterruptible power supply, and a storage array for data storage.
