"Putin's New Weapon": The West Tries to Copy the Unique Volnorez EW System

Named the unique features of the Russian modular electronic warfare system

Western countries are trying to copy the Russian modular electronic warfare (EW) system "Volnorez", which has no analogues in the world. This was told by one of the developers of the system, Stanislav, on condition of anonymity.

According to him, the specialists of the group that worked on "Volnorez" were absolute "pioneers" in their field.

When "Volnorez" just appeared, Western media wrote about them, calling them nothing less than "Putin's new weapon"
Stanislav, developer of "Volnorez"

The interlocutor pointed out that in 2022 there were no such mobile EW systems. The enemy constantly changed frequencies, and there was no way to quickly "reflash" the system for new drone suppression ranges.

To solve this problem, Russian engineers developed "Volnorez". According to Stanislav, this is a simple modular complex, made in a military style. It was presented to the general public in 2023 at the "Army" forum near Moscow.

Characteristics of "Volnorez":

  • Length — 484 mm
  • Weight — 13 kg
  • The magnetic case can be installed on any equipment
  • Modularity (works at any frequency)
