Russian company "Kvadro kod" (Samara) has presented the UAV detector "Alissum". The portable device detects video transmission from a drone in the ranges of 2400 MHz, 4900 MHz, and 5800 MHz. The distance at which it can detect a drone is 1 km.
Which drones does the "Alissum" detector detect:
- commercial types such as DJI and Autel
- Wi-Fi drones
- FPV drones
The company's press service explained that the UAV detector recognizes the type of drone signal based on artificial intelligence technology.
The device is considered a means of passive monitoring of the airwaves, an intelligent radio receiver. When a drone is detected, "Alissum" gives a signal to the operator. It can be used by people without special training.
