The "Yakovlev" PJSC Branch is Implementing Russian Systems in New Aircraft

The Irkutsk Aviation Plant (a branch of "Yakovlev" PJSC) is building the fifth and sixth MC-21-310 aircraft with import-substituted systems. The work is being carried out in the final assembly shop for aircraft.

On the fifth MC-21-310, number 73055, the installation of most Russian-made systems has been completed. The aircraft will be transferred to the flight test unit by the summer. Employees of the enterprise will conduct ground and flight tests, after which the aircraft will be sent for certification.

The sixth MC-21-310 aircraft has tail number 73057. It has been fitted with wings made of Russian composites. The aircraft will also receive a Russian PD-14 engine and domestic onboard systems.
