Employees will work in the renovated electroplating shop

The Sevmash plant (part of USC) continues its production modernization program. The electroplating shop and paint shop have been updated. Equipment and materials were provided by Russian companies.

New ventilation equipment with polypropylene elements has been installed in the electroplating shop.

Advantages of polypropylene:

  • Durable
  • Resistant to aggressive vapors
  • Service life is at least 30 years

Updated sections for ultrasonic cleaning, special chrome plating, hard and electrically insulating anodizing, and chemical nickel plating have also been launched here.

In addition, three closed painting booths, drying chambers, and exhaust cabinets for air drying have been installed on the chamberless painting site.

The management of Sevmash expects that the modernization of the workshop will increase production efficiency.
