Мусор переработают в энергию: Ростех строит четыре завода в Подмосковье

"RT-Invest" will dispose of waste that will not go for recycling

The Russian company "RT-Invest" (part of Rostec) is building four waste-to-energy plants in the Moscow region. The enterprises will thermally process fractions that are not suitable for recycling.

Where the Plants Will Appear

"RT-Invest" will open processing sites in:

  • Voskresensky
  • Naro-Fominsky
  • Solnechnogorsky
  • Bogorodsky districts

The press service of Rostec explained that this is the only way to stop the disposal of waste on the territory of sorting complexes. In addition, the processing of waste into energy (more than 2 million MWh) will reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, as well as preserve land suitable for farming.

"RT-Invest" is already carrying out preparatory work before launching a plant in the Voskresensk urban district. The enterprise is in the final stage of readiness. It will be able to process about 700 thousand tons of waste per year. When all 4 plants are put into operation, waste disposal in the Moscow region will decrease by 2.8 million tons.
