Photos of the new Russian Vozrozhdeniye multiple launch rocket system have appeared online in a number of military Telegram channels.
Vozrozhdeniye is a modified Zemledeliye system that can remotely deactivate its shells after the cessation of hostilities in the mined area.
The Vozrozhdeniye MLRS both mines a given area with 140 mm caliber rockets and hits targets with 220 mm caliber rockets. It can work with different rockets from the Tosochka flamethrowers and the Uragan MLRS, as well as with shells filled with mines from the Zemledeliye system. Its mass production was announced for the beginning of this year.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, Vozrozhdeniye was shown to the Minister of Defense of Russia Sergei Shoigu during a visit to the NPO SPLAV named after A.N. Ganichev. The MLRS was tested at the training ground, and the results were excellent.
If we manage to achieve the accuracy that you are talking about, then it [the Vozrozhdeniye system] becomes the main nomenclature.
This means that it will be able to replace Zemledeliye in the Russian troops.
It also became known that more Russian shells for MLRS will be produced, as NPO SPLAV will increase the volume of production of shells in various positions several times. For some of them, the increase will be 4 times, and for some positions 7 times. This became possible due to the new production workshops of the plant, put into operation in 2023.
