The Vector Research Institute, which is part of Ruselectronics, has supplied customers with over 100 Serp anti-drone systems. The equipment is used at facilities of the fuel and energy complex, as well as enterprises included in the military-industrial complex of Russia.
According to the press service of Ruselectronics, "Serp" suppresses the drone control channel, and also disrupts the operation of the receiver of navigation satellite systems signals. As a result, the operator loses contact with the drone.
The coverage radius of anti-drone systems is 5 km. "Serp" can jam not only one drone, but also a swarm of drones. The system is necessary to protect critical infrastructure.
Ruselectronics also has a military-grade anti-drone system. This is the "Lesochek" electronic warfare system, which jams phones, mines and other devices.
