Russian KamAZ trucks of the K5 generation will be equipped with Russian refrigerators manufactured by Rostec's subsidiary POZIS.
The cabin refrigerator can store food and drinks. The equipment, developed under the import substitution program, has passed operational tests. Serial production of POZIS refrigerators will begin in the first quarter of 2024.
The refrigerator is compact and can be installed in a выдвижном ящике кабины. The useful volume varies between 20-31 liters.
The press service of Rostec clarified that the POZIS range includes 163 basic models of refrigerators, as well as over 700 modifications of household and medical refrigeration appliances.
Earlier it was reported that KamAZ is testing a new bus for shift workers, inside which there is air conditioning and a heater.
