The weapon is installed on a tracked chassis, thanks to which the SPAAG will be able to cover infantry and air defense systems during their transfer through snow and off-road conditions. Rostec believes that the appearance of such systems in the Russian Armed Forces will increase air defense capabilities at low altitudes.

Earlier it was reported that the modified Pantsir-SM SPAAG received mini-missiles to engage small aerial targets. A distinctive feature of the complex is the function of destroying a swarm of drones with the simultaneous launch of 96 missiles at them.
