The ROC team from China became the winner of the international "Battle of Robots," which took place in Moscow. In the final, the Chinese team was stronger than the DC Robotics team from India. The fights were broadcast online.
The last match of the battle turned out to be the most spectacular. The Chinese robot attacked the opponent's robot from the first seconds and inflicted serious damage on it. The Indian robot repeatedly took to the air under the blows of heavy Chinese equipment. The DC Robotics team, having lost control of the robot, could not move it from its place. The victory was unanimously awarded to the Chinese ROC.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, Maksut Shadaev, took part in the award ceremony. The winners were awarded the "Battle of Robots" cup and a certificate for 3 million rubles.
Second place and a prize of 2 million rubles went to DC Robotics. The Russian team Turbomechatronics took third place.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, 190 applications from 9 countries were submitted for participation in the robot championship. 16 teams from Russia, China and India reached the playoffs of the battle. The competition was attended by more than 13 thousand people. More than 10 million viewers watched the online broadcast of the fights.
