Russian company Atom, which is developing the car of the same name, has revealed what the steering wheel will look like. According to the press service, the steering wheel has become more ergonomic and has new functions.
In particular, it will be more convenient for the driver to switch turn signals and select music on the media player. The "Atom" steering wheel has been compared to a command control center. It has two control options: touch mode or using joysticks.
It is specified that a similar system is used in cars participating in "Formula 1" races. The driver will not be distracted by the media system, as its display is in front of their eyes.
Earlier it was reported that the suspension parts for the electric car will be produced by the Dimitrovgrad Automobile Aggregate Plant. The company received a preferential loan of 3.3 billion rubles to set up the assembly line.
The Atom car is expected to be released in 2025. One of the Russian car-sharing services has shown great interest in it.
