Chinese Chery has updated its premium Exeed VX SUV for Russian customers and will bring it to Russia in December. This is reported by the specialized auto resource "Chinese Automobiles".
According to the project, the car received an impressive triple display in the style of Hyperscreen from Mercedes-Benz. It is a unified block covering the entire front panel of the car. It includes a 12.3-inch information panel, an outstanding 15.6-inch central monitor and a 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger, all integrated under a single glass.
Instead of a gear selector, a concise button is installed on the central tunnel. Door cards feature power seat controls, and the seats themselves can change: there can be either 6 or 7 of them.
Technically, the new Exeed VX received a suspension with CDC active damping function and a sixth-generation BorgWarner all-wheel drive system. It is powered by a combination of a 2-liter SQRF4J20C turbo engine (261 hp and 400 Nm) and an 8-speed Aisin "automatic".
Internet access in the car will be via its own modem or SIM cards. The SUV's configuration in Russia will include a pre-installed package from Yandex and VK, including video, navigation and games. For games, the car provides a separate option to connect a joystick.
